The Death Cult Con¶
When did less breathable air become okay? How have mass swaths of the population been brainwashed into just shrugging this off? Will we ever start persecuting those who have stolen the future from our children?
A week ago, when the smoke first rolled in, I started writing.
A week of now of this...¶
Climate change will kill me. I know this. I can feel the smoke in my lungs, can taste it in my sleep. My ankles are swollen, my mind muddled, and I have a persistent pressure headache. My body is already in pain and we are nowhere near the peak of the season.
Call it anxiety, call it a grim prediction, write off these posts as ramblings, however if you sit with it for just a minute, you know it to be true; this is violence. We are being killed.
The death cult con that has brainwashed whole communities of people is paralyzing us all. Me included.
Our ancestors, if they where told that in the future that 1% of humans where driving us towards their families death, would have eaten them alive. If you told them that the river would run dry, the mountains decapitated, and the sky turned orange, they would have called it the apocalypse.
What will we say to our grandchildren? "Oh so sorry you get a few days a year outside; a old man needed another spaceship"
We have been normalized into a lulled state. Idk what to do about that. So I am going to write until I do.
The Normalization of Violent Culture Through Sport¶
As a aside, a full breakdown of how sport is used to build consent for mass violence in Alberta has got to happen sometime.
The owner of the Oilers is a billionaire zionist who hangs out with underage ballerinas. They sued a homeless charity.
We are celebrating the very systems that are killing the planet; oil. Empowering oligarch's by choice. I can hear the cheers from downtown and every single time it makes me think of Isreal bombing children.
The perversion of sport, one of the healthiest things for a grand society, into this blood sport that enriches the worst kind of men, is sad.
Further, it is becoming more clear every day that this whole hockey enterprise is used to systematically cover up mass sexual violence for decades.
One of the hardest projects of a fairer society, one that believes in equality, will be the transition to one that doesn't involve blood sports.
I feel a urge to document this death cult. Writing about this seems to be the only thing I can do. I am working as much as I can to get myself detached form the corporations that are killing the planet however that doesn't seem enough.
So maybe will spin up some sort of archive. The evidence is all there and there comes a day when we really do get into it. Makes me wonder, will that day be in public and true trial, or will we just cook them alive.
I think that choice is for the oligarchs to make. Do we change course now, working with all we have to ensure a liveable environment for children, or do we stay the course, and stoke the fire?
All else fails, I will carve it into the stone, that we where killed by those in power, for nothing more then the interests of old perverts.
